"The brand audit alone was worth it. We had been patching things for three years and did not realise how inconsistent we looked until they laid it all out."

When Is the Right Time to Rebrand Your Business

The website is a bit dated, but people still find you. The copy is a bit flat, but clients still sign. And then one day you are in a pitch meeting and you feel quietly embarrassed by your own slide deck. That is usually when people call us.

How to Brief a Creative Agency Without Wasting Anyone's Time

A good brief is the single biggest factor in whether a creative project goes well. More than the budget, more than the timeline, more than the talent of the studio you hire. We have worked from briefs that were one paragraph and briefs that were forty pages, and neither extreme is ideal. Here is what actually works.

Brand Identity vs Brand Strategy: What Is the Difference

Samuel Caldwell

Samuel Caldwell studied graphic design at a regional art college and spent his early career at two studios before joining a mid-size branding agency where he led identity projects for hospitality and consumer goods clients. He left in 2017 to start Jib Blend Mesh, drawn by the idea of working directly with founders rather than through layers of account management. He is particularly interested in the moment a brand finds its own voice, which he says usually happens somewhere around the third round of revisions. Outside the studio he coaches a junior football team on Saturday mornings and has a well-documented weakness for hot sauce.
